These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Foliqo PDF (the “App”). The App is published by the developer identified on its Google Play listing (“Foliqo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. WHAT THE APP DOES

Foliqo PDF provides tools to import, view, organize, scan, edit, convert, merge, split, compress, protect, and export PDF documents. The App also supports optional Google Drive backup and restore, advertising in the free version, and optional Ad-Free purchases. Features may vary by device, Android version, region, and release.

Most document processing takes place on your device. If you choose Google Drive backup or restore, the App transfers the files you select or choose to back up to your Google Drive account. Google services are governed by Google’s own terms and policies.

2. YOUR DOCUMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You retain your rights to documents and other material that you import or create. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use, edit, store, share, or convert that material, and for keeping copies of important documents.

You agree not to use the App unlawfully, to infringe another person’s rights, or to interfere with the App, its security, or its operation. Do not use the App to create or distribute material that violates applicable law.

3. EDITING AND OUTPUT LIMITATIONS

The App is a document utility, not a legal, archival, security, or professional records service. Check the output before relying on it. OCR can contain errors and currently supports English/Latin text only. Visual signature marks are not certificate-based digital signatures. Editing a digitally signed PDF may invalidate its signature. Visual annotations do not securely remove the underlying text or data; use a purpose-built redaction tool when secure redaction is required. Password protection and export behavior can depend on the source PDF and receiving software.

We do not guarantee that every file will open, convert, print, remain compatible with other software, or produce a particular result. Keep an original or backup before making changes.

4. LOCAL FILES AND GOOGLE DRIVE

The App stores working files in private storage on your device. Uninstalling the App or losing or resetting your device may remove local files. You are responsible for exporting or backing up files you need to keep.

Google Drive backup is optional and requires you to connect a Google account and grant access. Backup and restore depend on your settings, available device and network resources, Google Drive availability, and your Google account storage. Disconnecting Drive in the App does not necessarily delete files already stored in Drive; manage or delete those files in Google Drive. Google may process your data under its own terms and privacy policies.

5. ADS AND AD-FREE PURCHASES

The free version may display ads from Google AdMob. Ad availability, consent choices, and privacy options may vary by location and device.

The App may offer a Yearly Ad-Free auto-renewing subscription and a Lifetime Ad-Free one-time purchase. The price, currency, billing period, and applicable taxes are shown by Google Play before you confirm a purchase. Google Play processes payments and manages subscriptions. The yearly subscription renews at the then-current price unless you cancel it through Google Play before the renewal. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; access continues according to the purchase status and terms displayed by Google Play. Lifetime Ad-Free is a one-time purchase and is not a subscription.

Purchase availability, restoration, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Google Play’s processes and applicable law. You can restore eligible purchases using the Google Play account used to buy them. Nothing in these Terms removes any non-waivable refund or consumer rights you have under applicable law.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PERMISSION TO USE THE APP

The App, including its software, branding, and design, is owned by or licensed to its publisher and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for lawful purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of the App to you. Third-party components and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.

7. AVAILABILITY, UPDATES, AND SUSPENSION

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App for operational, security, or legal reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice where appropriate and where practicable. We may suspend or restrict use if reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, or legal obligations. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; this does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription.

8. DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the law allows us to exclude. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that files will never be lost or corrupted. You should keep independent backups of important documents.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms from time to time and will update the effective date when we do. Where required by law, we will give notice of material changes. Continued use after a revised version takes effect means you accept it, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the App.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT

These Terms are subject to the laws and consumer protections that apply where you live. Any disputes will be handled by the courts or other bodies with authority under those laws.
